Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work The Old Bridge by John Henry Twachtman for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,542.90). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Henry Twachtman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hemlocks in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 600,000.00 (€ 445,997.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Old Bridge von John Henry Twachtman für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.542,90) erwerben.
