Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work A View Of The City Of York by John Glover for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,326.31). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Glover achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ben Lomond from Mr Talbot's property -- four Men catching Opossums in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,741,875.00 (€ 2,082,142.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A View Of The City Of York von John Glover für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.326,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Glover erzielen.
