Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A busy sunlit street with a view of the Martinitoren, Groningen by Johannes Frederik Hulk. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Frederik Hulk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amsterdam in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A busy sunlit street with a view of the Martinitoren, Groningen von Johannes Frederik Hulk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Frederik Hulk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amsterdam im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.836,74).
