In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British Country Life, which included the work A narrowboat passing under a bridge, mountains beyond by John Frederick Tennant. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,688.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00.
