In the American Art auction, the work Five Dollar Bill sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Frederick Peto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Time Letter Rack in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).
