Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The horse 'Vagabond', owned by Henry Everard Esq, and the dog 'Nell', owned by his fiancé Miss Helen Stuart by John Ferneley, Sen. was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,120.00 (€ 7,091.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Ferneley, Sen. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver firs at Osberton in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,018,324.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The horse 'Vagabond', owned by Henry Everard Esq, and the dog 'Nell', owned by his fiancé Miss Helen Stuart von John Ferneley, Sen. kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion.
