This work of art by John Ferneley, Sen. could be acquired at Christies in London in July last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Online auction, the work Anthony Adrian, 7th Earl of Kintore on Tom of Lincoln, hunting in an extensive landscape changed hands for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,523.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Ferneley, Sen. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver firs at Osberton in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 692,000.00 (€ 1,018,324.83).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver firs at Osberton im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 692.000,00 (€ 1.018.324,83).
