Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "East Hollywood" by John-Erik Franzén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 6,500.00 (€ 712.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John-Erik Franzén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 720,000.00 (€ 83,068.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "East Hollywood" von John-Erik Franzén kam im Mai 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 6.500,00 (€ 712,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John-Erik Franzén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 720.000,00 (€ 83.068,41).
