Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Two landscapes from Östra Tommarp by John-Erik Franzén was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year. The auction ended at the price of SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,093.87), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John-Erik Franzén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 720,000.00 (€ 83,068.41).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Two landscapes from Östra Tommarp von John-Erik Franzén wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.093,87) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John-Erik Franzén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 720.000,00 (€ 83.068,41).
