Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Bromma-Texas" by John-Erik Franzén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 11,574.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Admittedly, works by John-Erik Franzén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 720,000.00 (€ 83,068.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Bromma-Texas" von John-Erik Franzén kam im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 11.574,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John-Erik Franzén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 720.000,00 (€ 83.068,41).
