Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bateleur Eagle In Flight by John Cyril Harrison was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,376.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Cyril Harrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ptarmigan in mid plumage in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36).

Die Arbeit Bateleur Eagle In Flight von John Cyril Harrison kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.376,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Cyril Harrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ptarmigan in mid plumage im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.335,36).
