Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by John Christopherson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Moonlit Grove 2 55 x 43cm (21 5/8 x 16 15/16in) unframed sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,632.71).
