Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,528.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Christopherson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moonlit Grove 2 55 x 43cm (21 5/8 x 16 15/16in) unframed, which sold at auction in April this year for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,632.71).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.528,68) einen neuen Besitzer.
