Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Guitar Player by John Banting was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,483.24). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Banting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Social Service in September 2012 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,213.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Guitar Player von John Banting kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.483,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Banting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Social Service im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 39.213,21).
