Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Landschaft in Campanien by Johannes Niessen for EUR 645.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 800.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Niessen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Giacomo Orlandi di Subiaco“. in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landschaft in Campanien von Johannes Niessen für EUR 645,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Niessen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Giacomo Orlandi di Subiaco“. im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.625,00.
