Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A Moonlit River Landscape With Fishermen Near A Farm, A Windmill Beyond by Johannes Janson. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,020.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Janson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape With Drawbridge; River Landscape With Windmill in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 18,866.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Moonlit River Landscape With Fishermen Near A Farm, A Windmill Beyond von Johannes Janson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.020,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Janson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscape With Drawbridge; River Landscape With Windmill im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 18.866,65).
