The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Janson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape With Drawbridge; River Landscape With Windmill in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 18,866.65).
