Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch the Flirtation by Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in June 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De gestrande boot: a beached three-master with beachcombers along the shore in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 257,444.00 (€ 123,564.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch the Flirtation von Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek kam im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek erzielen.
