In March 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries, which included the work Farmhouse with goats by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 74,400.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farmhouse with goats von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Evert Hendrik Akkeringa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In de vakantiedagen: children playing on the beach in summer im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.400,00.
