In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Portrait of a lady, half-length, in a black dress with a white lace collar and pearl jewelry, holding a pink rose by Johannes Cornelisz. Verspronck. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Cornelisz. Verspronck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Jean le Gouche (1588-1669), half-length, in a brown coat and lace collar, holding a hat in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 880,000.00 (€ 644,216.69).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, half-length, in a black dress with a white lace collar and pearl jewelry, holding a pink rose von Johannes Cornelisz. Verspronck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
