However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Bronckhorst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four sheets of studies showing different species of tropical marine fish, including two species of blenny and a butterfly fish (no. 1); a grunt, a parrotfish and a banded butterfly fish (no. 2); a grouper, marbled grouper and butterfly fish (no. 3);, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,822.12

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.212,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%.
