The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Bosboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 84,250.00.

Die Arbeit The pulpit of the Eusebiuskerk, Arnhem von Johannes Bosboom wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion The Hofland Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Bosboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00.
