This artwork by Johannes Bosboom achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Poortje van het Oude Vrouwenhuis, Hoorn sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,250.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Bosboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 84,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Bosboom erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Poortje van het Oude Vrouwenhuis, Hoorn für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.250,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Bosboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00.
