Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Hofland Collection, which included the work The Oude Kerk, Delft by Johannes Bosboom. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Bosboom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 84,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Hofland Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Oude Kerk, Delft von Johannes Bosboom zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Bosboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00.
