In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A church service by Johannes Bosboom. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Bosboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 84,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A church service von Johannes Bosboom zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Bosboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Portuguese Synagogue, Amsterdam im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00.
