Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wolf hunt by Johan Tirén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 8,130.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johan Tirén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Lapplägret vid Gleen" (The Laplander camp at Gleen) in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 290,000.00 (€ 33,102.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wolf hunt von Johan Tirén kam im Juni 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 8.130,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Tirén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Lapplägret vid Gleen" (The Laplander camp at Gleen) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 290.000,00 (€ 33.102,31).
