Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Kamp mellem en dansk Lansener og en tysk Kyradser” by Johan Thomas Lundbye for DKK 4,600.00 (€ 617.07). This price was achieved in the auction Art on paper at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Thomas Lundbye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dänische Landschaft (Studie). in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Kamp mellem en dansk Lansener og en tysk Kyradser” von Johan Thomas Lundbye für DKK 4.600,00 (€ 617,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art on paper bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Thomas Lundbye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dänische Landschaft (Studie). im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.875,00.
