Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A study of a lying cow by Johan Thomas Lundbye for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 3,495.89). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Johan Thomas Lundbye have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2021 by the work Dänische Landschaft (Studie). at EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A study of a lying cow von Johan Thomas Lundbye für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 3.495,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Johan Thomas Lundbye wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit Dänische Landschaft (Studie). mit EUR 6.875,00.
