Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape with fisherman and a figure with a dog by Johan Philip Korn was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 7,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 5,600.00 (€ 624.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Philip Korn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,619.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape with fisherman and a figure with a dog von Johan Philip Korn im Dezember 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 7.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 5.600,00 (€ 624,19) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Philip Korn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.619,65).
