Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape with lake by Johan Philip Korn was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 18,500.00 (€ 2,111.70). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Philip Korn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott", which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,619.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape with lake von Johan Philip Korn im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 18.500,00 (€ 2.111,70) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Philip Korn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott" beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.619,65) versteigert wurde.
