Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape with lake by Johan Philip Korn was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,598.04). Admittedly, works by Johan Philip Korn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,619.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape with lake von Johan Philip Korn im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.598,04) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Philip Korn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Vue af Ulricsdal ifrån färgan vid Stäket"/"Vue af haga lilla slott" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.619,65).
