Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Was Your Uber Driver & I Felt A Real Connection by Joe Reihsen was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2017. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joe Reihsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Destruction probable but not guaranteed, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94).
