In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Winter Cow Camp 16 x 12 in. framed 24 x 20 in. by Joe Neil Beeler. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,940.42), 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Neil Beeler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thanks for the Rain in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 50,531.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Cow Camp 16 x 12 in. framed 24 x 20 in. von Joe Neil Beeler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.940,42) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Neil Beeler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thanks for the Rain im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 50.531,68).
