Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joe Neil Beeler could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work The Widowmaker 11 1/2 in. high changed hands for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,787.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Neil Beeler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thanks for the Rain in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 50,531.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Neil Beeler konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wechselte die Arbeit The Widowmaker 11 1/2 in. high für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.787,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Neil Beeler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thanks for the Rain im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 50.531,68).
