Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Monday Morning sight 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 in. framed 17 x 14 in. by Joe Neil Beeler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 988.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Neil Beeler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thanks for the Rain in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 50,531.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monday Morning sight 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 in. framed 17 x 14 in. von Joe Neil Beeler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 988,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Neil Beeler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thanks for the Rain im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 50.531,68).
