This artwork by Joe Neil Beeler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. In the The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman auction, the work North Wind 16 x 12 in. framed 25 x 22 in. sold for USD 7,650.00 (€ 7,410.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joe Neil Beeler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Thanks for the Rain in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 57,500.00 (€ 50,531.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Neil Beeler erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman wurde die Arbeit North Wind 16 x 12 in. framed 25 x 22 in. für USD 7.650,00 (€ 7.410,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Neil Beeler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Thanks for the Rain im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.500,00 (€ 50.531,68).
