Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Nénuphar by Joana Vasconcelos. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 12,037.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joana Vasconcelos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carmen Miranda in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 264,328.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nénuphar von Joana Vasconcelos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 12.037,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joana Vasconcelos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carmen Miranda im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 264.328,85).
