This artwork by Joan Cornellà achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October this year. In the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction, the work My Life is Pointless sold for HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,352.21) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Cornellà erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online wurde die Arbeit My Life is Pointless für HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.352,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
