Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Space in two Dimensions No. 892 by Jiro Takamatsu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiro Takamatsu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shadow No. 1391 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 538,000.00 (€ 508,602.76).

Die Arbeit Space in two Dimensions No. 892 von Jiro Takamatsu kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiro Takamatsu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shadow No. 1391 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 538.000,00 (€ 508.602,76).
