This work without title by Jiří Hilmar was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,625.57), 55% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiří Hilmar; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Weiß und Blau" sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of EUR 23,220.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jiří Hilmar wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.625,57) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiří Hilmar; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Weiß und Blau" im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 23.220,00.
