Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintingsthe online sale, which included the work Boating by the Willow Tree by Jin Cheng. The price achieved of HKD 10,200.00 (€ 1,117.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,840,000.00 (€ 743,975.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintingsthe online sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boating by the Willow Tree von Jin Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.200,00 (€ 1.117,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.840.000,00 (€ 743.975,28).
