Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiao Bingzhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Fishing Lady sold for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 10,855.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiao Bingzhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selling Fish On The River in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiao Bingzhen erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Fishing Lady für HKD 114.000,00 (€ 10.855,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiao Bingzhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selling Fish On The River im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.967,61).
