In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Jiang Zhaoshen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,286.76), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Zhaoshen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery of Four Seasons in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,060,000.00 (€ 122,592.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Jiang Zhaoshen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.286,76) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Zhaoshen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery of Four Seasons im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.060.000,00 (€ 122.592,79).
