Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Hanting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. In the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Peony and Fish sold for HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,327.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Hanting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds and Flowers in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 920,000.00 (€ 91,588.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Hanting erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Peony and Fish für HKD 69.300,00 (€ 8.327,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Hanting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds and Flowers im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 920.000,00 (€ 91.588,21).
