Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Hanting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Chirping Birds And Swimming Fishes sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 27,390.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Hanting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birds and Flowers, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 920,000.00 (€ 91,588.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Hanting erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Chirping Birds And Swimming Fishes für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 27.390,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Hanting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birds and Flowers beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 920.000,00 (€ 91.588,21) versteigert wurde.
