Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bird Perching On The Plum Tree by Jiang Hanting was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 81,900.00 (€ 8,768.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Hanting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds and Flowers in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 920,000.00 (€ 91,588.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bird Perching On The Plum Tree von Jiang Hanting wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 8.768,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Hanting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds and Flowers im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 920.000,00 (€ 91.588,21).
