Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Script Calligraphy by Jiang Chenying was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,813.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Chenying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 336,500.00 (€ 314,544.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Jiang Chenying wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.813,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Chenying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.500,00 (€ 314.544,77).
