Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running-Cursive Script by Jiang Chenying was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,444.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Chenying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 336,500.00 (€ 314,544.77).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running-Cursive Script von Jiang Chenying kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.444,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Chenying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.500,00 (€ 314.544,77).
