Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Du Fu'S Poems In Cursive Script by Jiang Chenying. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,818.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Chenying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 336,500.00 (€ 314,544.77).

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Du Fu'S Poems In Cursive Script von Jiang Chenying zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.818,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Chenying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruanji'S Poems In Running Script im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.500,00 (€ 314.544,77).
