This work without title by Jia Aili was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 3,365,000.00 (€ 368,680.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jia Aili wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.365.000,00 (€ 368.680,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
